If you've been to Grand Teton National park you probably recognize Scwabachers Landing..Time
This was taken about 10 AM. Weather was so miserable we slept in..Lighting
The lighting? I had been in the Grand Tetons for a couple of days and hadn't seen the mountains due to fog, clouds and snow.. the mountains started peeking thru.. in my definition the lighting was now perfect...... bracketed exposures to make the most of it.... weather hand you lemons? Make lemonade...Equipment
Canon 5D Mk II, 24-105mm f/4 L USM on a gitzo tripodInspiration
My inspiration is simply driven by the discovery of photography at a late age and the desire to see places and capture them while my vision will allow it..Editing
HDR Efex pro..In my camera bag
Canon 5D Mk II, Canon 7D, 10-18 EF-S, 24-105 mm f/4 L, 100-400 L, various ND filtersFeedback
Yeah. Don't stand around waiting for the perfect light if you are on the trip of a lifetime. Take a range of shots to give latitude in post processing.. never walk away disappointed. Think composition, take bracketed shots and be patient. At schwabachers landing the moose, ducks and beavers will keep you busy while you wait fir those mountains to peek thru..
