Probably sunset ish time, 4-6pmLighting
At Yosemite, the place gets dark before the sun even sets, so I suppose that was the closing light for the day at the valley. Trees were well lit but the cliff behind were dark. (Sadly I did not have a tripod or filters at my disposal)Equipment
Canon T3i and Canon 50mm f1.8Inspiration
Noticed a small pond where the light was falling and whole frame was serene. Basically everything at Yosemite is breathtaking and you just cannot forget to clickEditing
Post processing was done in Adobe Lightroom for color corrections, cropping and for detail enhancement. Warmer tones were used to bring up the time of the dayIn my camera bag
Mostly I carry a Zomei tripod, generic filters like UV, polarizing, and ND 1-10 filtersFeedback
Keep scouting and keep shooting. Always remember the golden hours of the day and the place you are in during your shoot. I was roaming the whole day in Yosemite but it was only late that I understood that the sun sets in Yosemite earlier, and thankfully it was not that late
