Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken in Cuyahoga National Park, Ohio, the most visited waterfall in northeast Ohio.

Time

This was taken on a cloudy day in summer

Lighting

Taken using a 10Stop ND filter and when I wasn't blocking other visitors as the viewing deck become pretty crowded at peak times.

Equipment

Canon T3i, Sigma 17-50mm with tripod and ND Filter

Inspiration

Even though I have visited several times the Brandywine waterfalls is always different in seasons. I loved the tree branch stuck at the base creating an aura around it

Editing

Post processing was mainly done on Adobe LIghtroom for color and light corrections

In my camera bag

I usually carry a Canon 50mm, 70-200 and Tokina 100mm macro. It usually depends on how far I go to shoot

Feedback

Use a ND filter when capturing waterfalls and waterbodies and always use tripod.
