Cute little Ghost Crab. You will often see their holes and tracks in the sand but rarely see the crab. If you want to find one, follow their track till you find a spot where it seems to end abruptly. Dig down a few cm and you will find it's hiding spot.

Fantastic shot and way to get it to pose! I've tried to photograph these little guys with much less success than this. The texture of the sand and the blurred out seascape in the background are what help make the shot to me. Thanks for joining my challenge!

Thank you :) They are cute little creatures that don't stay still for long so I had to be quick with this shot, all the while trying to remain focussed on maintaining a straight horizon line and capturing the crab before it jumped down off my hand. Great challenge idea as well. Something a little different.
