I arrived in New Jersey late at night after driving five hours in hopes of finding a migrant flock of Black Skimmers. The next morning I arose before sunrise and headed to the beach. Just as I began walking along the shoreline I was greeted by a large flock of them flying in my direction. And they stayed in the same section of the beach for the rest of the weekend.
