Mt Roy Peak, Lake Wanaka, New Zealand!

SPEECHLESS :P I can honestly say this moment changed my life. What an incredible hike and stunning view. But.. It didn't all happen as easy as it looks though! On Friday the 11th, myself and some friends set out for the gruelling 3 hour vertical hike to the summit for sunrise. We set out in the pitch black of night at about 3:30am and climbed to the top with our torches. It was the most intense hike I have ever done before, I have done longer times and distances but just never that steep before! Not to mention the freezing cold winds and sub zero temperatures up the top where we had to walk through some snow. Despite the 'sweat and tears' the results were beyond what I could ever have imagined. After seeing photos taken here by some of my idols in photography and knowing how good it was meant to be, it still beat all my high expectations. Until next time Mr Roy :)
