Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken just north of Burlington, Iowa on the Mississippi River in pool 18 during duck season.

Time

It was a beautiful sunrise that morning in the Duck Pub, my duck blind. I was taking pics of the sunrise, since there were no ducks flying at that time. When I looked to the west that morning, this photo op was staring me in the face.

Lighting

There was no special lighting used for this shot.

Equipment

In this pic I used my Canon EOS T5 with 18-55mm lense. That was the only equipment used in this shot.

Inspiration

I take pics almost every morning from my duck blind of the sunrises if I think they are special in any way. There are so few sunrises that are the same. If there are clouds that morning I can expect better colors, and there can be some spectacular colors.

Editing

There was no post-processing.

In my camera bag

Most of the time I just have my Canon EOS T5 with two lenses, 18-55mm and 75-300mm zoom.
