Behind The Lens

Location

This is a picture of the Burj Kalifa in Dubai. The picture was taken as I left the hotel in the evening after a long day with meetings. I saw the motif as I entered the car, went back out and put my camera on the ground and got this picture.

Time

evening

Lighting

Natural lighting was the only option due to the time constraints.

Equipment

I used my Sony Cybershot. It is a handy camera that fits in my work bag when I travel for work.

Inspiration

I just saw this magnificent building from below and saw I motif that I hoped I would be able to capture

Editing

I have done some post editing on my Mac.

In my camera bag

A Sony Cybershot and my NIKON D750 and a tripod.

Feedback

Keep a small camera handy and be prepared for new motives to open up any time.
