Kimmeridge Bay on a beautiful evening full of colour. There are many fossils in this area and there were people collecting them in bags to take home. If you do visit this area on the south coast of England, please leave the fossils where they belong. There are plenty of ammonites and other fossils in the hard rock to look at and photo etc. Anyway, this is a rock ledge which stretches out to sea and is best viewed at low tide. The sea had turned here and incoming tide was fast approaching, kind of adds a bit more drama to the photo. Oh, thats Clavell Tower situated up on the hill to the left. Superb! Love the light you've captured on the ledge. I used to swim here in the Summer evenings.

It's a beautiful place to spend the evening, in fact most of this coastline is quite spectacular. I used to live in Portsmouth, so would visit regularly.
