Behind The Lens

Location

In Richmond Park, London

Time

Early morning, around 8 or 9 o'clock.

Lighting

It's natural light, as you can see the morning was very misty, so it was difficult to find the composition.

Equipment

I used a Nikon D3300, hand held, without flash. Later on, it was edited in Lightroom.

Inspiration

The interest in nature and wildlife. And that you can get this close to wild animals in a big city like London is just amazing.

Editing

I used Lightroom only for post-processing. I added some light on the deers, and lowered it on the foreground. Luckily the background did need any editing. In the final touches I warmed up the tones a little and added some contrast.

In my camera bag

A Nikon D5500 and a Manfrotto tripod. I have two lenses, Nikor 18-55 mm, and Nikor 55-200 mm.

Feedback

Despite the weather conditions just go for it. Don't let bad weather stop you, often the best pictures come from harsh conditions.
