This is Anette, she is the matron of the dormitory at Ovihitura Primary School, Namibia. This area of the country has suffered severe drought for the last three years, causing people who were already very poor to loose most or all of their livestock. Some of the children do not have the means to travel to and from the remote school, so live together in the dormitory and are cared for by Anette. During the trip I designed a mural for the dormitory, for which the school requested a lady in traditional Namibian dress, which Anette kindly modelled for me.
