Whilst nestled on the side of the Waimakiriri River in Canterbury, New Zealand we awaited the passing of the International Space Station (ISS) and then a brief parting in the clouds revealed the Galactic Kiwi flying low as the end of the astrophotography season and so a hasty setting up of gear had me capturing this panorama as we faced the Southern Alps.
