For lovers of astronomy a night under the stars is rarely bettered, add in an isolated lighthouse and an unusually warm and cloud free winters evening and it becomes an ideal night for wide field astro photographers. The hardest part of taking this and so many other shots was remembering to take the photo as opposed to sitting back and admiring the view before me.

This view is the one I took only as I prepped for the timelapse so want to do this one again although will have to wait another year for this shot.

You have a strong composition, dark leading line to the lighthouse. You have captured delicate rays pull the eye into the light fixture. The photo evokes stories with the viewer. The surround sky is icing.

Absolutely beautiful shot. The Milky Way arch looks to be almost illuminated by the lighthouse. An absolute masterpiece, I am extremely jealous of this shot, well captured!
