This is Mungo. Sadly no longer with us but he managed to get to the ripe old age of 16 so he had a good life.
Pet photography is very much a matter of luck. In this case Mungo had decided to join me whilst I did some post processing and had laid down on his back. Having closed his eyes I carefully grabbed my little canon G9 camera and placed it on the desk in front of him. Set on aperture priority i was just about to press the shutter when he opened his eyes with that annoyed stare on his face.
I post processed the image and cropped it as I wanted. He will always be with us as the image hanging in our dining room.

Now that's a kitten that's ALL kitten! Great composition. I was so sorry to read that Mungo is no longer with you, but I'm sure he will always be there in your heart.

I can see the suspicion and cunning felines posses. A beautiful image!!! It is sad Mungo gone, but you have this and many others that keep him in your, and now our mind's eye.

Location
This one of our late boy was taken at home. I had settled down in the office to do some work and he decided to come and lie on the window sill on his back next to me. I happened to have my Canon G9 next to me and as he appeared to be asleep I set up to take a shot. Needless to say, he awoke and gave me the stare! Just love this shot as it captures his nature perfectly.Time
Could have been any time. Definitely during the day as it was natural window light.Lighting
