Came across this formation while on our way up to Paria Movie Set just north of Hwy 89 in Southern Utah. We were amazed at the layers of different colors and fortunate to have nice clouds behind the formation. This is part of the Grand Escalante National Monument in Southern Utah. After this side trip to the movie set we were heading up Cottonwood Canyon Road to Kodachrome State Park.
