I took this shot on a very cold walk in Golden BC.Time

The end of day lighting helped add some drama to this image, and works well with the town's name, "Golden".Equipment
I was carrying a 5D Mark III that day and used my Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L lens.Inspiration
I couldn't walk by this barn without taking a snap because of the lighting, the fluffy snow, and how the trees and the mountains seemed to frame the barn into a beautiful postcard kind of moment.Editing
For post-processing, I was shooting jpg at the time, so I played with a few levels from what I can remember, perhaps a small crop, but the rest was captured in camera.In my camera bag
I normally carry a 5D Mark III with Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L lens, and a 50mm F/1.4 prime lens.Feedback
Only advice I have is to keep your eyes open for unique opportunities and what the light is doing, perhaps shoot more towards the beginning and end of day, but most importantly, just be in the moment. That's when the magic happens!
