Dear Amanda: In Myanmar there are hundreds of thousands of young boys and girls who turn to being a novice monk. They know they can always eat and be taken care of at the pagodas and monasteries and in turn they learn how to take care of others in future. It partially driven by poverty as much as Buddhism. Thanks for noticing the quality of this image. I think it tells a good story! :) :)
