During the midst of a Pacific storm, this image was captured as snow and rain cascaded down the Sierra Nevada eastern slopes and onto the foothills behind Reno. I chose Aurora HDR 2017 "forest" to enhance the view highlighting the still clothed cottonwood in the foreground while turning all else into b&w.
