A rare photo of the remains of St Annes pier with the actual sea around it. This was a 2 minute exposure at just after 10pm on 14th Sept 2016 when the high tide created by the perigee moon at it's closest approach this century brought sea almost upto the first legs on the pier. For reference the fire escape lit up by it's green sign on the right is supposed never to be under water.
