Location
This Photo was taken at the Capron Zoo in Attleboro, MA. This Victoria Crowned Pigeon was actually behind plexi-glass when I shot it.Time
It was taken in the middle of the day; however, this location was actually in a building along with other species of pigeons.Lighting
The lighting wasn't that great, had to take several shots due to the glare of the plexi-glass, however, I really like how this shot came out.Equipment
I used my Nikon D3200 with a 16mm-300mm Tameron lens. Aperture 63/10 ISO 1800 Shutter 10/600 Focal Length 3000/10Inspiration
The color of the Pigeon is what caught my eye; the brilliance of the pigeons' eye was amazing! I had never seen a pigeon that looks so beautiful.Editing
The only post processing that I did was to sharpen up the photo ...nothing else at all.In my camera bag
I normally carry extra cards, batteries and sometimes another lens...But I generally just shoot with either my Nikon D5500 or my Nikon D3200 (which is what I used for this photo)Feedback
Be patient when trying to shoot anything behind glass; you may have to take several photos due to the "glare of the glass". you may have to adjust your settings if the glare is to harsh and blocks the photo.
