Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken in the middle of Cambridge on a family day out

Time

It was about mid day on a miserable day with 80% cloud cover

Lighting

The lighting was pretty overcast and average

Equipment

I used a canon 6d mk1 and a canon 24-105 f4 lens handheld

Inspiration

The inspiration was the range of colours and shades in the sky and the lovely warm shade of the stone buildings, and the reflections in the water

Editing

A little light post processing in lightroom to up the contrast in the sky but that is all.

In my camera bag

Canon 6d mk1, nifty fifty f1.8, 24-105 f4, 100mmf2.8 macro, 100-400 f4-5.6 mk1 and 2 x convertor, speedlight 430 and various filters and other bits and bobs

Feedback

When i was trained as a wedding photographer one of the things that always sticks in my mind is look through the viewfinder not at it.
