Behind The Lens

Location

This was Galitha Falls in Cornwall

Time

This was mid morning

Lighting

The light was dappled due to the overhead canopy of trees.

Equipment

This was Canon 6d with 24-105 mm f4.5 lense, manfrotto tripod, and square nd system

Inspiration

The beautiful contrast between the shades of green of the vegitation and the whiteness of the bubbling water

Editing

Only a small amount of post processing was required to get the exposure spot on and the highlights and shadows bang on, i dont like to over process and having been a pro photographer in the days of film i like to get the shot right in the camera.

In my camera bag

Canon 6d, 24-105 f4.5 canon, 100 mm f2.8 macro canon, 50mm f1.8, 100-400 mm f4 l series mk1 and 2 x adapter, i am just about to buy a 20mm f1.4 sigma art lens for astro and landscape

Feedback

Make sure you fix your asa dont leave your camera on auto asa as the camera will fight th other settings you make and you will struggle to get a long enough exposure to smooth the water.
