I love Cedar Waxwings when they come though in the fall and mostly eat the Red Berries of the Mountain Ash tree but this bird dropped down to grab a few Blue Byerries from the Holly Bush!Editing
I did some sharpening and contrast manipulation as well as shadow reduction! Cedar Waxwings are difficult to get contrast between the eyes and the black stripe that surrounds the eye!In my camera bag

Patience with Birds and no sudden moves and a quality long lens. Most of all and understanding of their habits! If you go to where they are eating and they fly away just stay and be still and they will return!
