This was taken with my Samsung Galaxy phone while fishing on the Kinzua Reservoir on November 7. Unfortunately I did not have my Nikon D5100 with me on this trip. Enhanced and resized using Photoshop Elements 14.1. Some interesting things that have been observed on this photo. If you rotate it counterclockwise it looks like the outline of a woman. The grayish area in the right center looks a bit like a fish.

Very interesting. You didn’t need the Nikon. The Galaxy produced a beautiful photo.

Location
This photo was taken while I was fishing on the Kinzua Reservoir near Warren, Pennsylvania.Time
This was taken around 1 PM on a perfectly clear day and there was no wind so there was a perfect reflection.Lighting
This was all natural lighting. It was late fall (November 7) so the sun was about directly overhead so there was no reflection from the sun.Equipment
I quite often take my Nikon camera with me when I go fishing on the Kinzua but I did not have it this day so I took the photo with my old Samsung phone. I was certainly wishing I had my Nikon with me to get better clarity.Inspiration
The Kinzua is one of my favorite places to go fishing because it is in the middle of the Allegheny National Forrest so it mostly wilderness even though it is only a few miles from Warren, Pennsylvania. This perfect reflection on calm water just had to be captured.Editing
The only post processing I did on this photo was to crop and resize it.In my camera bag
Most of the time I do not go out intending to take a specific shot so I would generally just carry my Nikon D5100 with a AF-S Nikkor 70-300mm1:4.5-5.6 G VR lens. In my bag I also have a AF-S Nikkor 18-55mm 1:3.5-5.6 G VR lens, a variety of filters, a spare battery, a spare SD card, and a Nikon Speedlight SB-600 flash. I also have large telescoping Vista tripod and a short Vanguard tripod. I would like to get some better equipment but being retired and on fixed income limits what I can afford.Feedback
My best advice is to always be on the lookout for a great moment in time to capture. On the Kinzua it could be perfectly calm like in this shot and then a short time later there could be whitecaps on the water from a strong wind. Even if you don't have you favorite camera with you chances are that you will have a phone and you can take some very good shots with the newer phones.
