October is still nearly dark at that time of morning. Have to use a good heavy tripod and a remote shutter button. Long exposure at the time a car was going by. Wait for it...

Equipment

Pentax K20d with a Sigma 18-200 set at 18mm. If I could reshoot it, I would use about 25mm. Manfrotto tripod.

Inspiration

I love the desert and road shots. I am always up early for the Golden light. This is my favorite time to shoot photos.

Editing

No post processing done.

In my camera bag

Cokin ND filters, flash that I rarely use, lots of batteries, have to have my tripod and monopod close by.

Feedback

Get up early, real early. The world belongs to the early risers. Be patient and shoot with both eyes open. Look left, right and behind you. Sometimes the best shots are the ones you are not looking at.
