Behind The Lens

Location
This is my tattoo artist Chris Porter at Alley Cat Tattoo in Harrisonburg. I took this photo when one of my friends was being tattooed.
Time
This was taken during the afternoon.
Lighting
Porter uses pretty bright lighting when he's tattooing, so I didn't need to have any additional lighting.
Equipment
Sony A200 Camera, my first DSLR. No flash.
Inspiration
Porter is such a great artist, I wanted to capture him making beautiful art.
Editing
Photo was converted to black and white.
In my camera bag
My Sony SLR as well as a couple of film cameras. I have my dad's Minolta XG-7, which I love and a Lubitel twin lens reflex camera.
Feedback
Be patient, and be comfortable with the person you shooting.
