This photo was taken on the local bush block walk through forestry around the place we lived in, Takone. It’s one of the dogs favourite walks before I headed off to Uni. Lots of wallabies & rabbits through here which makes it interesting for them. Serene & quiet too, a place to breathe out & relaxTime
I think it was coming to late afternoon, so long ago now. The trees created this tunnel with a glow of light at the end that just seemed otherworldly to me at the time, the dogs had been running too and were glad to stop.Lighting
Afternoon light, had been a gray day until this moment and with light coming through the end of the tunnel of trees it just seemed magic.Equipment
I have only got a iPhone 6s for all my photos. No tripod, flash etc. just as steady a hand as I can get ????Inspiration
It was the tunnel of trees with the light at the end and the path leading to it that caught my eye. I thought can I get all 3 sitting in height range and looking towards the tunnel, obviously only one point could be managed, sitting together!Editing
Yes, unfortunately I over did the vignette, but then I was just learning what that was. I used Snapseed, the app to change the colour a little and enhance the Browns some more as that’s what I seemed to notice the most colour wise, and lightened the light at the end of the tunnel some more.In my camera bag
Only my iPhone. It’s always with me. Easy to carry, convenient to whip out if I’m walking the dogs or riding the horse.Feedback
Having trained dogs makes it easy. I’m a dog trainer so it’s important to have them well trained. Have some words they know that are a precursor to action, or catches the attention of the dogs to prick their ears or have them focus on you, be able to make odd sounds.
