Behind The Lens
Location
This was taken from a view deck of Mount Cabuyao, Tuba, Benguet, Philippines.Time
This was taken during the sunrise of Valentines Day (February 14, 2020). Me and my colleague don't have a Valentines date and decided to shoot sunrise and enjoy the view.Lighting
It was one of the unique moments where I get to witness that kind of light when photographing sunrise.Equipment
This was shot using Nikon D300s with Nikkor 70-210mm f/4-5.6 lens. I used a Benro A series Tripod.Inspiration
It reminded me the of the phrase "rays of the rising sun"Editing
Not much processing was done except for the watermark that I place on the lower right corner of the photo. In my camera bag
Normally during landscape shoots I usually bring three lenses and one camera body. These lenses are wide, zoom and macro lenses. Aside from the lens and camera, I also include accessories like filters, shutter release cable, spare batteries, etc. When I get hungry, I have some light snacked tucked inside the bag as well.Feedback
Landscape photography requires patience. Sometimes the weather is not on your side at first but if you wait long enough, you will be rewarded with an awesome view of the place. Don't forget to enjoy the view while taking photographs. Every day you will see a different view of the sunrise or sunset. Whenever you get the chance to take a picture of a beautiful scene, the best camera is the one that you have at the moment.
