I took this picture on the day we were closing up my mother in-laws country place in Granby Quebec for the winterTime
We decided to take a walk with my kids and let them play around with all the falling leaves in the area before leaving to the city. It must have been late afternoon when we came upon this spot and just loved seeing all the pretty colours reflecting on the water. I could only imagine what it must of looked like at sunset.Lighting
The only lighting I used was from nature.Equipment
I was either using my Nikon 3100 or 3200.Inspiration
I love Fall, I mean who doesn't?? All the beautiful different colours and listening to the leaves crunching under my feet as I walk. The stillness of the water with all the colours reflecting off of it.Editing
No no processing needed, leaves brought in all the colours I could ask for.In my camera bag
I have my Nikon 3100 and my 3200, I carry a few different lens in my bag all Nikon brand along with some filters and my tripod with clicker.Feedback
Just try different angles and try different settings until you like what you see. And be patient nothing in life comes easy or quickly. Just have fun and don't be scared to try new things.
