I completely agree with Kevin.

I think the ultra-tight crop and upper portion partially veiled in shadow help make this a strong photograph.
Ultimately, it is the allure of the vibrant center mimicking a sunflower, creating a flower within a flower effect, that wins us over and won't let us go.
