I took this photo from Coronado Island looking back at downtown San DiegoTime
I took this photo around 3am on a cloudless and calm moring on San Diego Bay. I feel this is the best time to photograph still water and to get the reflections as I wanted.Lighting
It is all natural light. Long exposure helps when it is dark out and you want to bring the colors and relection into viewEquipment
I use a Nikon D7200 with a Tokina 11-24 F2.8 lense on a tripod with remote release.Inspiration
I have always enjoyed taking pictures in the early hours of the day. I enjoy taking pictures with relections of the lights and buildingsEditing
My post processing was mainly to reduce any noise in the picture and to highlight the colors.In my camera bag
In my bag I always now have a Nikon D750 a Tamron 100-400, A Nikon 24 to 120 F4 and a Tamron 17 to 35 F2.8 lense. I always have a remote shutter release and flashlight so that I can see waht I am doing.Feedback
Practice, practice and more practice. Experiment with different setting and exposures tio capture the right picture.
