Location
In a ranch outside my hometown Teziutlán.Time
Well it was a great day. I was hired to make this photo shooting of this two sisters Marian and Elsi. So we decided to do the photos in this amazing ranch that belongs to their grandfather. So we started the photo session around eleven o twelve and this photo was made about 1/1:30 pm.Lighting
While we were walking taking photos in the trees, the house and all around the places in the ranch. We were about to finish the photo session. When I saw this amazing light coming throught some of the trees. And I just imagined putting both of the girls laying down in there in the Grass.Equipment
This photo was shot with a Canon 5d mark III, 50mm F2.8 canon lens, didn´t use any kind of flash because I just loved the light.Inspiration
I love taking my time every time I have a photo session and that I know that I have all the time I want. So before I take photos I try to take a look around the place where I´m going to be working. In this case I had such an amazing location so I was inspired every where I looked. I love green places with many trees. So every shoot I took I felt that I was getting more and more inspired, as I said before, when I took this photo we were about to finish. So I was already feeling very warmed up and inspired when I saw this amazing light coming throught some of the trees. And I just imagined putting both of the girls laying down in there in the Grass.Editing
Yes, I take all of my photos in RAW. So I develope my files most of the times in Light Room. In this photos that´s what I did, using one of the filters that comes with the program. In my camera bag
I always have in my Lowepro or thing thank bags two cameras (canon 5d mark IV and 5d mark III) by the time I took this photo I was using a canon 5d mark V. I use many lens like 50mm F2.8, 16-35mm F2.8, 35mm 1.4, 70-200mm 2.8, 24-70mm 2.8. I also travel with a Canon Speedlite 600EX II-RT, many batteries, memory cards, trípode. A soft box that sometimes I use for portraits.Feedback
I would say that if you are in a photo session where you don´t have the pressure of time. It´s great to get to know a Little bit more the person (persons) that you are about to photograph so you can understand what´s what they want as a result and also if they or you took a long time or thought to decide the location. Look around, explore the place, see the light so you can make the decition where you are going to take the photos according with your ideas and the ideas of the person who hired you for the photos.
