My family and I went to Lake Ngatu, 16 kilometers north of Kaitaia, to go swimming.
I used my Nikon 50mm f-1.8 and mounted it backwards on the camera, using a Photodiox lens mount adapter. I also used my Yongnuo flash to get good detail and exposure.
In Photoshop I edited the photo using Viveza 2 and Camera Raw.
Camera settings: 50mm mounted backwards = 1:1 magnification, 1-160 sec, ISO-100.
