My family and I went to Lake Ngatu, 16 kilometers north of Kaitaia, to go swimming. We stayed there till 5:30 pm in the afternoon, the time I got this photo.
I used my Nikon 50mm f-1.8 and mounted it backwards on the camera, using a Photodiox lens mount adapter.
In Photoshop I edited the photo using Viveza 2 and Color Efex Pro 4.
Camera settings: 50mm mounted backwards = 1:1 magnification, 1-100 sec, ISO-200.
