The lighting was not that great, but I made do with what I had.Equipment

I really enjoy both old cars and photography. The aesthetic of a vintage car makes them an interesting subject, and the recent trend of such things as "survivors" and "patina cars" has added a new layer to the world of classic car photography that interests me far more than the show quality restorations. I like that these cars look used, or like they really have seen 35+ years of driving, and I like to capture that feeling and share it with others.Editing
Not that I can remember. In my camera bag
Nikon D3300, standard lens, 70-300 mm zoom lens, macro attachment, shutter remote, various lenses...Feedback
Learn to see the beauty in the imperfect. This vehicle in particular has been floating around for almost ninety years and it shows, but it's still functional, could still get you from Point A to Point B, if it needed to. To me, that's better than any "trailer queen" restoration that hasn't seen the road in twenty years or more. Also, learn the history of these cars; talk with the owners, get the car's significance, why the owner chose this particular car. There's some really neat stories buried behind years of rust. Also, I offer my usual advice to anyone looking to get into photography, whether as a hobby or a profession; take the shot; you don't need an expensive camera or lens to get out there and start learning to shoot, nor do you need them to take an amazing shot.
