Located in Paestum Italy this is one of the best preserved ancient Greek temples in the world. This temple was actually dedicated to the goddess Hera but mis-identified in the 18th century as being dedicated to Neptune. Dating from c. 450 BC this temple contains design elements that were later used in the temple of Athena at the Parthenon in Athens.
