Thanks, Amanda. The palace is set beside the Elbe River in a beautiful park, it was spring with lots of cherry blossoms, tulips, and lilacs. The palace was built to store and display Japanese porcelain but it was never used for that. Now it is has three museums inside, none were of interest to me and there wasn't much foot traffic going in so I skipped it. :)
