A woman living in a Western society will continuously experience struggles with certain aspects of their lives. We want to be strong but feminine, sassy but gentle and in control of our own thoughts.
The blood red water brings a dramatic element to the images. It strongly echoes the more sinister final chapter of Ophelia’s life.
