My father once told me "We can never be apart from the world, because when you pull back and view the Earth we are just one big organism." I never see why that was a necessary idea of his until one day in the city. I look out the bus window with all the raindrops layering the bokeh of lights and felt a sense of great strength. Knowing that one raindrop could connect to another and then another and eventually causing a stream for which other raindrops could follow. This would be the effect of just one drop meeting another. How evident this is for mankind.
