An extinct railway snow shed from the early 1900’s. Located in Stevens Pass, Wa. Also the site of the tragic Wellington Avalanche of 1910.

Location

I took this photo by the Fox Island Bridge near Gig Harbor, WA. I used a GoPro Hero 4, and took over a dozen shots before the waves & crab “composed” themselves.

Early afternoon

Lighting

I’m not experienced with underwater shots, and prior shots had come out dark & murky. I chose midday for maximum natural light.

Equipment

My GoPro was attached to my trek pole, and operated the shutter using the GoPro app on my iPhone.
