Tarr Steps in Exmoor National Park in Devon is possibly one of the oldest bridges still in existence, it's suggested it dates back to 1000 BC, the main spans of each part consist of flat stones weighing over 2 tons each. The fantastic part about this bridge is people are still allowed to cross it so it has remained in continuous use for over 3000 years !
