One of my favourite early photos from my year in South Korea, some friends and I had traveled to the southern tip of the peninsula for some fun in the sun (and beach) of Busan. The water was rough so the usual Korean crowds were relegated to the beach. We made our own fun by tormenting the well-meaning life guards. Every break in the patrol we flung ourselves into the waves until it got to the point that we had our own personal lifeguard following us around. However, his nonchalant and subtle purpose only inspired more fun as we would travel far down the beach, let him catch up, and then sprint back. When we finally tired of the experience we shook our lifeguard's hand and said "good game."
