As I was taking my rapid-fire shots of the mist that crept up from the Detroit River under the Ambassador Bridge (so that my kids didn't go too crazy about the delay in picking up pizza for dinner) I saw a woman was doing the same thing with her cell phone. We were definitely not the only ones trying to catch the beauty of this phenomenon. She said she had never seen the fog like this before. I was inclined to agree, though I have only been in the area for about 6 years.
