This was taken on a boat on my way to a fishing hole on the Srinagarind Reservoir in the province of Kanchanaburi, in Thailand. To create this reservoir a dam was built during the 1970's, impounding the River Khwae Yai, flooding the valley. But even today, almost 40 years on, the leafless skeletons of the trees still stand tall.
