I've been working on a series of photos based on the Millais painting "Ophelia". When I had the good fortune to view the painting in person at the Tate in London this summer I was moved beyond words. I love the botanical heavy imagery of the pre-raphaelites. The location was a spot I was searching out for a senior portrait shoot. I knew the second I saw it that it would be a perfect spot for an Ophelia photo. My sweet model is actually laying in a mountain stream of cold, cold water.
