This is the Mangamuka river flowing through our friends land. I did not have a tripod with me (Oh no!), so I put my camera on a large boulder beside the river. First I made sure it wouldn't fall off (I did mot have a Gorilla pod either). Secondly I attached a polarizing filter to the lens to remove the glare from the water and rocks. Lastly I set the shutter speed to 1sec, ISO 100, my aperture to f-22 an my focal length to 18mm (nikkor 18-105mm f-3.5-5.6), and took the shot. The location: Mangamuka, New Zealand.
