I was recently on a roadtrip for two weeks in San Francisco with a few friends. We had been skateboarding through the city the whole week. This certain day we stayed downtown during the entirety and ended around Fisherman's Wharf. This was a very random sculpture I came across right as we were getting kicked out of the skate spot. I nicely asked the security guard if I could take a picture real quick and they gave me no response. This was rather rushed due to the look on their faces. I didn't want just a shot of this sculpture. I wanted to be a part of it, surrounded by it. Stuck my camera inside the narrow tube through a small opening and lined it up as well as I could under the circumstances. Snapped a few off after checking focus real quick and left. I wanted to put on a really wide lens to experiment, and I will next time around. Soon enough, that city has inspiration in every inch of it.
