Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken outside of my house. I planted the seeds a while ago by the mailbox. One day when I was leaving for work, the flower caught my eye- especially with the droplets of morning dew on it.

Time

This was early in the morning around 6:30am when I was leaving for work. The droplets are from the morning dew!

Lighting

The lighting really accentuated the colors of the flower and the water droplets- it is soft like early morning.

Equipment

This was one of the first few photos I took that got me into photography- it was taken with my phone camera (Sony Ericsson).

Inspiration

The beauty and innocence of the flower with the morning dew.

Editing

I darkened the photo just slightly to bring out the different shades of purple from the flower and to soften the color.

In my camera bag

Just my phone camera! Now I own a samsung galaxy s7.

Feedback

Keep your eyes open and just simply observe. The beauty of the flower caught my eye in the morning and I was able to capture a great moment before leaving for work!
