I was trying to go with a fine art feel to this picture of one of the most loved flowers, the rose. I wanted it to to have no distractions and so took the picture on a white background and converted to black and white, just to show that this flower has beauty without the colour. I loves the patterns and textures these flowers have from the soft petals to the pointy leaves and sharp thorns.
