I love American Avocets,I had heard from some of my photographer friends that their babies were simply adorable.Yet,I had never had the opportunity to see one.I was very happy when I heard that there was a new clutch of them in Gilbert.Editing

Be out there early,keep your distance and respect the parents with their young.They will sense danger and call out if you are too close and the babies will leave.Let the baby birds show you the shot,they will waddle around,feed,and swim within hours of birth,Be patient.
